What this site is

An informational website about the game Maze X Monsters, operated by Maze X Monsters. It sells nothing and hosts no user accounts.

Game licence

Maze X Monsters is sold and delivered through Steam. Your licence to install and play the game is granted by Valve Corporation under the Steam Subscriber Agreement, and refunds are handled under Steam's refund policy. Nothing on this website grants you a licence to the game.

Intellectual property

The Maze X Monsters name and logo, the game, its characters, artwork, music, text and code, and the design and contents of this website are owned by Maze X Monsters or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. Except as expressly permitted below or by law, you may not copy, distribute, modify or create derivative works from them.

Press use

Journalists, reviewers and content creators may reproduce screenshots, logos, key art and the text descriptions from the press kit for the purpose of reporting on or reviewing the game, without asking first. Please do not alter the logo or the key art.

Video, streaming and Let's Plays

You are welcome to record, stream and monetise footage of Maze X Monsters, including on YouTube, Twitch and similar platforms, including the music as it is heard in the game. We will not issue takedowns against gameplay video.

What is not permitted: uploading the soundtrack as standalone audio, using the soundtrack as background music in videos unrelated to Maze X Monsters, redistributing the game's assets or files, or presenting the game as your own work.

Fan works

Non-commercial fan art, fan fiction and fan videos are welcome and need no permission, provided they do not imply that Maze X Monsters produced or endorsed them. For anything commercial, please ask.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure, interfere with its operation, or use it to distribute malware. Automated scraping that degrades the service is not permitted.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its content is complete or current. The game is in development, and anything described on this site may change or be cut before release. Nothing here is a commitment to ship a particular feature, on a particular platform, on a particular date.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maze X Monsters is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

This site links to services we do not control, including Steam and streaming platforms. We are not responsible for their content or their practices.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
